An Embedded Linux Engineer with experience across both Embedded Linux and Real‑Time C/C++ development will bring their broad skills to a thriving Technical Consultancy where you’ll contribute to the design and build of embedded systems across a wide range of applications. South Cambridge – Hybrid + generous salary package.
With a strong academic background, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support a range of projects, whilst liaising closely with customers to find solutions to problems across defence, industrial and medical markets.
The ideal Embedded Linux Engineer should possess the following:
* Minimum of 1st / 2.1 Bachelors / Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline.
* Commercial Embedded Linux development experience involving Yocto, including knowledge of device trees, user‑space and kernel‑space and SoC platforms.
* Commercial Real‑Time C/C++ development skills.
* Experience of at least one high level language such as Python or C#.
* Experience of working at the boundary between electronics and software.
* Good customer‑facing experience with a desire to work within a Consultancy environment.
