Full time, office based, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
£45, to £50, depending on experience + performance bonus
As the company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operational Manager to lead the operational strategy and daily execution.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the MD, the Operational Manager will oversee and enhance the efficiency of our warehouse, fulfilment, logistics, purchasing, customer service, and returns operations. Your leadership will be central to driving performance, cost savings, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end warehouse operations: goods-in/goods-out, stock control, fulfilment, and distribution.
2. Lead and develop the Customer Service and Returns teams to meet high customer satisfaction standards.
3. Analyse supplier and courier performance; negotiate better commercial terms.
4. Monitor and manage operational costs; implement continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
5. Ensure seamless flow of goods for both third-party and in-house brands (WellCut® and ToughMaster®).
6. Develop KPIs and report performance metrics to the Managing Director.
7. Collaborate with Purchasing and Marketing to maintain optimal stock levels and support campaigns.
8. Drive a high-performance, accountable team culture.
9. Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
10. Proven experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management, ideally within eCommerce or trade retail.
11. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
12. Experience optimising operations and reducing costs across departments.
13. Solid understanding of multi-channel sales (Amazon, eBay, website, etc.).
14. Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel for operational analysis and reporting.
15. Familiarity with managing supply chains for branded and private-label products.
