Role responsibilities
* Managing the full audit cycle for a range of clients from planning to completion
* Leading on-site audit teams and reviewing audit files to ensure quality and compliance
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements
* Providing practical advice and insight to clients around systems, controls and risk
* Supporting the development and training of junior audit staff
* Monitoring budgets, deadlines and resource allocation across assignments
* Working closely with the wider accounts and tax teams to provide a joined-up client service

Candidate requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in audit
* Proven experience managing audits from planning to finalisation
* Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting
* Confident leading teams and mentoring junior staff
* Excellent communication and client management skills
* A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple assignments
