HOME BASED OPPORTUNITY FOR A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER / PROCUREMENT MANAGER REQUIRED FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
TITLE: Supply Chain Manager – Waste Management Purchasing / Procurement
SALARY: £47-50K plus £8k, Bonus, Pension, Life Assurance
LOCATION: Home based (good main motorway access required) regular travel to clients & suppliers
PREVIOUS ROLES: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Waste Broker, Supplier Manager, Waste Brokerage Account Manager
YOU MAY HAVE PROCURED SERVICES INCLUDING: Recycling, Total Waste Management, Courier Services, Utilities, Card Services, Pest Control, Hygiene, Capital Equipment Sales, Workwear, Washroom Services, Facilities Management, Waste Brokerage, Hard Services, Soft Services, Clinical Waste, Contracted Engineering Services, Construction Waste, Plant Hire, Secure Destruction, Industrial Services, Laundry Services or any other type of operational service.
ROLE: Supply Chain Manager – Waste Management Purchasing / Procurement
Manage existing waste service providers, monitor their performance and ensure their pricing is competitive, ensure said suppliers are compliant
Sourcing new suppliers and negotiate pricing, agree service level, undertake compliance audits
Oversee subcontractors’ implementation and delivery on new services and contracts
EXPERIENCE: Supply Chain Manager – Waste Management Purchasing / Procurement
Qualifications such as CIPS level 3 or higher or a degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management beneficial
You will have a background in procuring sub-contacted services
Any experience in the Waste Management & Recycling Sector would be an advantage, but not essential
You will have a UK Driving Licence
