Ashfield District Council have a great opportunity for a Principal Officer – Gas Compliance ???to join our team based in Kirkby in Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £42,839 - £46,141 per annum. The Principal Officer – Gas Compliance role: You will work within the Planned, Cyclical & Estates Maintenance Section and predominantly supervise the Authority's Property Health and Safety Check / Service which includes the completion of all statutory health and safety tests and surveys to services, including gas, solid fuel, electricity, smoke & CO alarms etc. to the Authority's Housing Stock. Additionally, you will also take a lead in respect of supervising and maintaining the Council's Gas Safe Registration as the most qualified and senior Gas industry professional. With exceptional attention to detail, you will also be required to extract and analyse a range of data and provide information on the performance of the Section's activities.
