Learning Support Assistant (Core Subjects) - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real impact in secondary education? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LSA to support students across core subjects in a welcoming and forward-thinking school environment in Croydon.
This is a full-time, 5 days per week position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic classroom setting and is committed to helping young people achieve their full potential.
The Role:
* Provide in-class support across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
* Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support to students
* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting learning strategies where necessary
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and encouragement
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject
* Solid understanding of SEN and effective support strategies
* A degree is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
