Overview
Lead a team of approximately 15 colleagues in downstream oil consulting in the ECISA region, managing revenue of about $3 million per year and driving significant growth.
Responsibilities
* Manage team performance and development.
* Deliver revenue growth and manage team revenue, starting at $3 million per year.
* Support and/or project‑manage consulting projects across the downstream oil segment, including energy transition, decarbonization studies, transaction/due diligence support, investment and strategy analysis, crude oil pricing and marketing, price and margin forecasting, and biofuels studies.
* Provide consulting, technical, and leadership coaching to team members.
* Lead OMD ECISA consulting business development, bring in and close new consulting leads, and grow consulting revenue.
* Develop productive relationships within the industry to generate recurring consulting business and revenues.
* Work with consulting project teams and coordinate with research groups to leverage SPGCI’s industry‑leading insights and analysis.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the SPGCI global consulting business.
Qualifications
* Minimum 15 years downstream oil industry experience, traditionally acquired by working for industry, consulting or technology firms.
* Team‑leader and business‑development/sales expertise.
* Commercial track record of business development and delivery of large, complex projects to internal or external stakeholders.
* Ability to create a high‑performing team and develop team members rapidly via coaching and mentoring.
* Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
* Refinery experience is a significant plus, including process engineering/operations/planning and economics/project roles.
* Bachelor’s degree required; a graduate degree in engineering and/or business preferred, or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
* Ability to participate in, lead, and manage large, interdisciplinary teams.
* Must be highly organized and creative with accomplished time and project‑management skills.
