Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher
* Ensure all students are engaged in learning activities
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Assist students with their work and provide support as needed
* Follow the school's policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
* Experience working with children or young people
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Good understanding of classroom management techniques
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to build rapport with students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Higher education qualifications in education or related field
* Teaching assistant or cover supervisor experience
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school setting
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
* Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
