Your Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Journey

* Take ownership of the full recruitment cycle — from posting adverts and supporting shortlisting to arranging interviews and ensuring a brilliant candidate experience.
* Prepare offer letters, contracts and onboarding documents that make new starters feel welcome from day one.
* Carry out right to work checks and ensure all employment processes meet legal requirements.
* Deliver a smooth induction experience and keep new starter information accurate and up to date.
* Arrange security passes, PPE and everything else needed to set new employees up for success.
* Keep employee records, HR trackers and HRIS data accurate and well maintained.
* Manage the HR inbox, offering helpful and timely responses to colleagues and managers.
* Support key HR processes including appraisals, probation reviews and absence monitoring, ensuring actions are completed and records kept up to date.

Employee Relations Support

* Be the first friendly point of contact for HR policy and process queries.
* Support managers with low level ER matters, providing guidance as needed.
* Take clear and accurate notes during formal meetings, investigations and hearings.
* Assist in maintaining organised and compliant case management documentation.

Payroll & Benefits

* Process monthly payroll changes such as starters, leavers and contractual updates.
* Record sickness, annual leave and other absence data with precision.
* Support employee benefits administration and answer related queries.

Additional Responsibilities

* Support any other reasonable HR tasks that contribute to the smooth and effective running of the function.

Ideal Candidate
Qualifications

* CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice (or equivalent) or at least 18 months' experience in a dedicated HR role.
* GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.

Experience
Essential

* Experience in an HR administration or coordination role.
* Hands on experience supporting recruitment processes.
* Confidence in maintaining accurate HR records and using HRIS systems.
* Experience handling confidential information with care and professionalism.
* Comfortable working in a busy, fast paced environment.

Desirable

* Experience supporting employee relations activities.

Knowledge
Essential

* Understanding of key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, absence and performance management.
* Basic knowledge of UK employment law (aligned with CIPD Level 3).
* Understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations.
* Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) best practice.

Skills & Abilities

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* High levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Clear, confident and friendly communication skills.
* Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
* Able to build positive relationships at all levels of the business.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
* Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information.
* A proactive, solutions focused mindset.
