About The Role
LGBT Foundation is a vibrant charity with a broad portfolio of services and initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people. We are seeking two facilitators to deliver a new monthly activity group for LGBTQ+ Over 50s in Liverpool, as part of the Pride in Ageing programme. This group will serve as a safe space for socializing, developing connections, and participating in workshops and trips. Attendees will also be supported to access other LGBT Foundation services.
Launched in June 2019 by Sir Ian McKellen, the Pride in Ageing programme addresses issues of isolation and discrimination faced by LGBTQ+ over 50s. The Liverpool activity group will be the programme’s first regular event outside Greater Manchester.
