Overview
Receptionist role at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. Permanent, full‑time position. 37.5 hours per week, £24,531.00 per annum. Includes early mornings, early evenings and weekend shifts.

What you’ll do
* Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department
* Use empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
* Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments
* Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly
* Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions
Requirements and skills
Great communication, IT and keyboard skills. Ability to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically and understandably. Ideally, experience in healthcare administration or on reception.
