Are you passionate about helping people live independently and safely?
Job Overview
Join our Advice and Contact Team, where we focus on prevention and early support and work creatively to make a real difference in people’s lives. Our service is grounded in empathy, respect, honesty and compassion, and we are committed to delivering high-quality person‑centred practice.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who shares these values and who can bring integrity, trust, teamwork and a flexible, adaptable approach to the role.
Responsibilities
You will carry out strengths‑based assessments, often in challenging or sensitive situations, supporting people to live as independently and safely as possible. You will manage a varied caseload, including complex cases, and will assess risk, recommend adaptations and identify bespoke equipment solutions. Safeguarding, moving and handling assessments and supporting carers will form key aspects of your work. The role also requires agility in responding to changing needs and circumstances.
You will work closely with health and social care professionals, always keeping the individual at the centre of your practice and ensuring that support is timely, safe and effective.
Qualifications
To apply, you must be HCPC registered with at least two years of post‑qualification experience and a strong understanding of relevant legislation. You will be confident in managing risk, leading on complex cases and contributing to service development.
This position comes with a 12.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
We are firmly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and to the principles of inclusion and diversity in both employment and the delivery of services.
