From Head Office to the shop floor, our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops at Lidl. If you are customer‑obsessed, high‑energy, and eager to learn each day, this role is for you.
Shift Patterns
* Morning shift: 5–6 am – Stock the shop floor and bake‑section to start the day.
* Middle shift: Mid‑morning to early afternoon – Clean, present the store, assist customers, and minimise till queues.
* Late shift: Afternoon start – Deliver top‑class customer service at the tills, restock and prepare the store for the next day.
What you’ll do
* Interact with customers pleasantly, friendly and helpfully.
* Follow stock‑loss controls across the store.
* Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Adhere to freshness and rotation principles.
* Ensure proper waste management.
* Assist in the stock‑count process.
What you’ll need
* Can‑do attitude and excellent customer‑service skills.
* Willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
* Responsibility and reliability.
* Comfortable in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
* Team‑player mindset.
* Previous customer‑facing experience is preferable but not essential – attitude is key.

* Competitive pay: £12.40 per hour rising to £14.10 per hour after 3 years.

Pay Progression
* Year 1: £12.40 (basic), £15.50 (unsocial hours), £18.60 (overtime/sundays).
* Year 2: £12.80, £16.00, £19.20.
* Year 3: £13.40, £16.75, £20.10.
* Year 4: £14.10, £17.63, £21.15.
