About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Quality and Regulation Officer(Security and Protective Services) to join our Quality and Regulation team.
The Security Quality Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality and compliant qualifications across the Security Sector for BIIAB. Working closely with the Quality Manager (Security and Protective Services), you will provide effective administrative and operational support for external quality assurance processes and help ensure that quality standards are consistently maintained.
The successful candidate will:
Liaise with External Quality Assurers, Examiners, and Moderators to schedule and organise centre visits.
Support the Quality Manager in activities that drive continuous quality improvement.
Assist in maintaining compliance across all external quality processes for Security within BIIAB.

Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a quality, compliance, or administrative role - ideally within education, training, or awarding. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication and IT skills, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
You should be confident in maintaining records, coordinating activities, and liaising with a range of stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner. A proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team will be key to your success.
Knowledge of awarding organisation processes or external quality assurance would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
