Careers Adviser (Part-Time | 1 Day per Week | Brent, London) Start: ASAP | Ongoing until Easter (with potential extension to summer) A well-established secondary school in Brent is seeking a knowledgeable and inspiring Careers Adviser to join their team on a part-time basis. Rooted deeply in the local community, the school supports students from Year 7 to Year 13 and is committed to ensuring every young person receives the guidance they need to make confident, informed decisions about their future. In this impactful role, you will provide impartial careers advice to students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5—helping them explore pathways, develop aspirations, and navigate the changing landscape of post-16 and post-18 options. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality 1:1 guidance and group workshops across KS3–KS5 • Use Unifrog to accurately log interactions and track student progress • Provide tailored support for students exploring post-16 and post-18 pathways • Make referrals for SEND and other additional support needs where appropriate • Monitor, track and report on student aspirations to inform school planning • Engage parents and carers through meetings and parents’ evenings • Attend key school events, including results and enrolment days Ideal Candidate: • Holds a Diploma in Careers Guidance or Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance (essential) • Experienced in supporting young people with diverse needs • Organised, approachable and skilled in building rapport • Confident in delivering workshops and working independently Why work via Teach Now?
