Job Description Coordinates manufacturing delivery commitments to Program Management and Contracts. Analyzes customer demand and validates that all manufacturing deliverables are correct with attainable delivery dates. Monitors Master Production Schedules for potential slippages and problems that could impact product delivery; alerts management of delinquencies and recommends corrective actions. Prepares and distributes weekly schedules and project status summaries to relevant work centers and production management teams. Develops and maintains monthly and quarterly forecasts while identifying critical manufacturing resources and potential bottlenecks through capacity planning analysis. Adheres to and develops evolving Master Production Scheduling policies and company standard procedures. Monitors and controls changes to Order Policies and Lead Time Policies; applies rough-cut capacity planning to expose long-term resource problems. Attends Control Board Reviews to ensure change requests are correctly classified and analyzes impact on MPS commitments with Production management. Prepares project startup schedules and monitors progress of supporting elements including test equipment, processes, and fixtures in coordination with Manufacturing Operations. Coordinates recovery plans and chairs formal meetings to resolve cross-functional problems; maintains minutes and monitors action items. Works directly with finished goods shippers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods. Supports BOE (Basis of Estimates) requests for new business bids and attends Project and Production Reviews as required. To view the full job description click here
