Field Service Engineer ( EV Chargers)
Work location: On field across Midlands
Primary duties will involve overseeing on-site commissioning, testing, and delivering technical assistance for our charging solutions applied in electric buses, e-trucks, and various heavily utilized transportation networks. Your proficiency will play a vital role in identifying and resolving operational issues, alongside performing preventive and corrective maintenance assignments. Moreover, you will play a key role in enhancing product features and delivering on-site training sessions for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake repairs, alterations, and necessary maintenance tasks on our range of products.
* Create comprehensive reports detailing tests and services performed.
* Recognize and propose enhancements to our array of products and services.
* Uphold quality control standards for technical service partners not directly affiliated with our organization.
* Execute on-site commissioning activities, including the implementation of Site Acceptance Testing.
* During periods away from fieldwork, provide assistance to 1st line technical support in resolving malfunctions.
* Perform input/output tests and measurements both in online and on-site environments.
* Conduct on-site training sessions for our clients
* Play a role in revising and improving service documentation.
* Collaborate with development teams to deploy, test, and offer insights on emerging products.
Required technical qualifications and experience
* City & Guilds Level 3 HND/HNC or equivalent.
* Proficiency with electrical installations and PLC systems.
* Knowledge of local safety regulations.
