Description AUM Reporting Analyst Who we’re looking for We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AUM Reporting Analyst to join our high-performing AUM Data & Reporting team, based across London and Luxembourg. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, data, and controls, and who is keen to build a strong understanding of the products and services that make up Schroders’ Assets Under Management (AUM) and the drivers of sales and annualised revenue. You will support the production of monthly consolidated AUM, sales, and annualised revenue outputs, contribute to analysis and insight for Finance and the wider business, and help strengthen detective controls and process efficiency as we continue to enhance our reporting model and systems roadmap. About Schroders We’re a global investment manager. We help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future. We have around 6,000 people on six continents. And we’ve been around for over 200 years, but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn’t change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper. The base We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly. What you'll do AUM Movement Analysis & Insight: Support analysis of drivers behind movements in AUM (market, flows, FX, reclassifications), helping to explain outcomes clearly and consistently to stakeholders. Identify opportunities to enhance insight and improve detective controls using available platforms and data. Monthly & Weekly Reporting Delivery: Assist in producing the monthly consolidated Group AUM, sales, and annualised revenue reporting, and contribute to the preparation of the Weekly Sales report, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. AUM Views & Segmentation: Produce and maintain alternative AUM views and breakdowns (e.g., investment desk, business area, regulatory, client segmentation) to support internal reporting needs. Stakeholder Support: Provide accurate and timely information to Sales, Product, and other teams for client RFP responses, management requests, and ad hoc analysis—escalating issues where appropriate. Data Quality & Reconciliation: Perform validation and reconciliation checks across datasets and reporting outputs, investigating variances and supporting resolution of discrepancies with relevant teams. Process Improvement & Change Support: Proactively identify opportunities to simplify and improve team processes, supporting documentation, standardisation, and (where possible) automation—helping reduce manual work and operational risk. Team Collaboration & Resilience: Support cross-training within the team and provide cover during peak periods, contributing to a strong team culture and reliable delivery. The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need We are looking for someone with a solid grounding in reporting disciplines and an interest in working with complex datasets in a control-focused environment. Proven experience in reporting/data roles, preferably in asset management, with exposure to AUM, flows, performance or product/client segmentation. Strong attention to detail and an understanding of principles required for robust, controlled reporting. Advanced Excel skills (comfortable with large datasets; pivots, lookups, data cleaning; interest in learning new tools and applications). Experience or interest in Power Query / Power BI and basic automation or scripting (e.g., Python) is advantageous. Curiosity about AI-enabled tooling to improve reporting efficiency, detective controls, and insight—used responsibly and in line with Schroders governance—is welcomed. What you’ll be like Confident problem-solver, able to investigate issues logically and take initiative while knowing when to escalate. Well organised, with good time management and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines during busy reporting cycles. Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain data and outcomes in a straightforward way. Positive, collaborative mindset; comfortable working across Finance and with wider business stakeholders. Interest in change and continuous improvement—willing to challenge existing ways of working constructively. We recognise potential, whoever you are Our purpose is to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. Diversity of thought, facilitated by an inclusive culture, will allow us to make better decisions and better achieve our purpose. This is why inclusion and diversity are a strategic priority for us and why we are an equal opportunities employer. You are welcome here, regardless of your age, disability, gender identity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, or any other protected characteristic .
