Workshop Controller Required in Worthing, West Sussex
1. Basic Salary Up to £40,452.10 per annum (£16.82 per hour)
2. Award-Winning Commercial Vehicle Dealer
3. Hours: 46.25 per week – Monday to Friday 06:00am to 04:00pm (1-hour lunch)
4. Saturdays: 1-in-4, 07:00am to 12:00noon

Duties of a Workshop Controller with our Client:
11. Oversee the daily running of the workshop, ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are achieved
12. Allocate work to Technicians and monitor progress throughout the day
13. Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards and within health & safety guidelines
14. Liaise closely with the Service Department to ensure customer requirements are met
15. Monitor quality of work and carry out final checks where required
16. Support the Service Manager in driving workshop performance
17. Maintain clear and accurate communication with customers, colleagues, and manufacturers
18. Handle administration tasks related to job cards, warranty, and compliance
What our Client expects of their Workshop Controller:
19. Previous Workshop Controller or Senior Technician / Foreman experience within the Commercial Vehicle or Automotive sector
20. Strong organisational and leadership skills
21. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
22. Sound technical knowledge of vehicles and repair methods
23. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
24. Full UK Driving Licence
25. Right to live and work in the UK
