The Role
The materials preparation and packing department is vital to customer service and the supply chain, supporting the company's strategic global goals.
You will ensure correct products are delivered to customers on time and in excellent condition, handling various product requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Team Member
* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
* Perform tasks to required standards and quality
* Update stock quantities in internal management systems
* Verify and check order details; store stock safely and accurately
* Be flexible within the team to meet customer needs
* Document processes for new or revised product designs
* Identify opportunities to improve processes for standardization, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, and safety
* Set up and operate equipment to meet specifications
* Test and inspect parts against requirements
* Train new and existing staff as needed
Materials Preparation and Packing
* Prepare and package materials for delivery
* Identify order requirements from stock
* Select pre-cut or packaged materials
* Measure, weigh, and cut materials to specified sizes and tolerances
* Package products securely with correct labels and packaging
* Arrange for dispatch via courier
Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures
