If so, our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is hiring for a Customer Account Manager for their site in Cheltenham. The role will involve supporting the sales team by providing in depth knowledge of the products and assisting with any technical related questions. Customer Account Manager Permanent Salary – Up to £60k Monday-Thursday 07:30 – 16:30 with a 12:30 finish on Fridays Location - Cheltenham Customer Account Manager The role of the Customer Account Manager is key to managing customer requirements & expectations, providing detailed technical proposals and ensuring data is communicated to production. A strong knowledge of precision machining and manufacturing methods is key to exceed in this role. The candidate will have a demonstrable track record in managing complex accounts and technical engineering experience. The expectation of this role is to spend the majority of working time on site unless customer needs require time to be spent at their facility. Job title Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Account Management within Technical solution sales Project management experience, preferably in a precision engineering or OEM R&D function Experience of building strong relationships within internal and external stakeholders Knowledge and experience of high precision complex machining technologies Sales experience within large accounts and experiencing project management for component manufacturing A confident customer facing individual able to communicate effectively both internally and externally Ability to accurately report on sales pipeline and communicate customer requirements for capacity planning purposes Commercial acumen on value proposition to customers.
