* Social Infrastructure - Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain own and others health and safety
* Carry out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites as instructed
* Follow health and hygiene rules
* Ensure that work is undertaken with due regard to the environment: prevent contamination to water supplies and water courses; maintain site cleanliness; prevent spills; minimise disturbance to members of the public; avoid damage to trees; dispose of waste only as authorised.
* Backfilling of excavations to correct standards
* Removal of spoil from excavation areas
* Manhandle materials, plant and equipment
* Drive Company vehicles with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and other road users for authorised business purposes
* Operate mobile plant for authorised business purposes
* Maintain site, vehicle, plant and equipment tidiness and security
* Install and maintain road works to 'Chapter 8' standard
* Assist members of the public, clients' representatives and other officials in relation to Company business
* Maintain safety, environmental and quality records
* Report any accidents, near misses, faults, damages or defects using appropriate documentation
* Undertake any other reasonable instructions given by management or supervision
Qualifications
* Full clean driving licence
* A valid Grab Lorry Loader licence
* National Water Hygiene registration (EUSR)
* NRSWA (Units 1-4 minimum)
* EU Skills registration
* CSCS card
