JOB TITLE: Driver Coordinator SCHOOL: Lindsworth School HOURS: 25 hours per week (term time only) 7:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-5:00pm Mon-Thurs and 7.00am-9.00am and 2.15pm- 4.15pm Fri (some flexible working hours during the school day to provide occasional support for school trips etc. may be required) *SALARY: £24,796 - £28,142 (full time equivalent) £14,912 - £16,924 (actual salary TTO) *Salary is subject to evaluation under BCC Equal Pay Programme Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in your community? Lindsworth School is seeking a friendly and reliable Driver Coordinator to safely transport our pupils with emotional and behaviour difficulties from home to school and school to home. This is a supported role - each journey includes a dedicated guide on board to assist with students, allowing you to focus on the road. Lindsworth’s catchment area covers the whole of Birmingham, and we seek highly reliable individuals to join our team of drivers for our small fleet of minibuses providing transport for our pupils to and from school Monday to Friday during term time. Lindsworth School is a mixed day/residential special school meeting the needs of 151 pupils, and rising, from Year 4 to Year 11 who have been assessed as having social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Many of the pupils have medical diagnoses including ADHD, ASC, PTSD, PDA, ODD and Attachment Disorder. They have also experienced significant disruption to their education due to multiple school moves, fixed term and permanent exclusions and extended periods of part-time or no placement in a school.
