Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £55 to £70k (depending on experience)
Location: West Midlands
A leading construction company in their field is looking for an experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyor. This company has a reputation for delivering high quality work, a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and is looking to expand their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is driven, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running. As a Quantity Surveyor and a key member of the team, you’ll be provided with opportunities to develop your skills and further your career.
What you’ll be doing:
* Preparing and submitting accurate valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Liaising with site teams and project managers to monitor progress and costs
* Procuring subcontractors and managing their packages
* Conducting site visits to assess ongoing work and compliance
* Ensuring contractual and commercial compliance with project requirements
* Preparing monthly cost/value reconciliation and forecasting reports
About you:
* Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Strong knowledge of contracts and cost management
* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
* Industry recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
* Knowledge and experience in relevant software
* Valid UK driving licence
