Role Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst with expertise in Cash Management, Payment Execution, and Syndicate operations to support our European entities and collaborate globally. This role ensures efficient liquidity management, accurate payment processing, and robust cash flow forecasting, leveraging Oracle ERP and working closely with banking partners and internal teams.
Key Accountabilities:
Cash Management
1. Lead daily cash positioning to ensure optimal liquidity across European entities.
2. Monitor and forecast daily cash needs, maximizing the efficient use of surplus funds.
3. Execute intercompany fund transfers and manage cash pooling structures to support operational efficiency.
Payment Execution
4. Oversee and process payments across European operations with precision and timeliness.
5. Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure seamless payment execution.
6. Respond promptly to urgent payment requests and resolve any related issues effectively.
Cash Flow Forecasting
7. Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
8. Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, delivering actionable insights.
9. Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data and enhance forecasting accuracy.
ERP & Systems Management
10. Utilize Oracle ERP to manage cash and execute payments efficiently.
11. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP system.
12. Recommend and support system enhancements to improve treasury operations.
Reporting & Analysis
13. Prepare regular cash flow reports for senior leadership.
14. Conduct detailed analysis of cash positions and forecast performance.
15. Support audit and regulatory reporting requirements with treasury-related data.
Global Team Collaboration
16. Partner with global treasury colleagues to align cash management practices.
17. Contribute to global treasury initiatives and projects.
18. Share best practices and provide support across regions as needed.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience in treasury, finance, or cash management.
Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is essential.
Proven expertise in payment execution and cash flow forecasting.
Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis tools.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
