Recruitment Consultant - Software Engineering
Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working)

A global leader in customer data and insights is looking for a Lead Engineer to help shape the future of cloud-native platforms and applications used by some of the world's most recognisable retail and consumer brands.
Responsibilities
* Own the technical design and delivery of cloud-based applications and services
* Implement and champion cloud-native practices within Azure, AWS, or GCP ecosystems
* Collaborate with engineering managers, architects, and product leads to align on priorities and technical roadmaps
* Mentor engineers and foster a strong culture of knowledge sharing, quality, and technical excellence
* Support platform reengineering to improve performance, resilience, and maintainability
* Identify and resolve technical dependencies across cross-functional teams
What they're looking for
* Deep experience in .NET (C#) development for enterprise-grade applications
* Strong background in designing and delivering solutions on public cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered)
* Experience working with microservices, APIs, and integration patterns at scale
* Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps principles
* Proven ability to work in Agile environments and deliver results iteratively
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Experience in any of the following is a plus
* Python, Scala, or data processing frameworks
* Event-driven or distributed system architectures
* Big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, HDFS, Airflow)
* Linux and containerisation
