3. Manage VAT compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
4. Support with Group M&A processes
5. Support Tax and Group Finance with a new ERP system.
6. Provide VAT advisory support to internal stakeholders across various departments.
7. Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
8. Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions.
9. Collaborate with external advisors and tax authorities when required.
10. Develop and implement VAT process improvements to enhance efficiency.
11. Deliver VAT training to internal teams to ensure compliance awareness.
12. Assist in VAT audits and respond to queries in a professional manner.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Indirect Tax Manager should have:
13. Proven experience in VAT from a professional services background or from Industry
14. A strong understanding of VAT compliance and advisory processes.
15. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Ability to interpret and apply VAT legislation effectively.
17. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
18. Relevant qualifications in accounting or tax would be advantageous.
