We are now recruiting Hygiene Operatives to join the team.
Shift: continental shift, working 7 shifts over a 14 day period
Salary £28,405.31
The role:
As a successful Hygiene Operative, you will play a critical role within the hygiene department. You will ensure that the production lines and equipment are cleaned according to the safe system of work.
This includes:
* Ensuring standard operating procedures are correctly followed
* Ensuring cleaning equipment is in working order and safe to use
* Cleaning machinery in machine wash to specification and ensuring the machines are in working order and safe to use
* Keeping line areas clean at all times, including the removal of waste
* Using cleaning chemicals to correct concentrations
* Routine deep cleaning schedules
* Following all health and safety protocols
* Developing and promoting a health and safety culture, ensuring regular and consistent job rotation
The successful individual
* Experience gained in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given
* The ability to comply with Hygiene Standard Operating Procedures, and work well under pressure
* Heavy lifting and manual handling is a major requirement in this role
