About the Role As an Associate IT Service Delivery Manager, you'll support the management of critical IT services, oversee the performance of strategic IT vendors, and act as a key point of contact for operational stakeholders. You'll ensure that services are reliable, well-documented, and continuously improving, while gaining exposure to service transition, change, incident, and problem management. What you'll be doing Managing assigned IT services, internal IT functions, and vendors in line with ITIL best practice. Supporting Service Design and Transition activities, reviewing Service Impact Assessments, and maintaining the IT Service Portfolio. Monitoring and reviewing day-to-day vendor performance. Holding regular service reviews with stakeholders and suppliers to drive improvements. Creating service and performance reporting packs for operational and IT audiences. Contributing to Incident, Problem, and Risk Management processes with operational insights. Managing high-priority escalations directly or via the Incident Management team. Attending CAB meetings and communicating change impacts to stakeholders. Delivering small service improvement projects within your assigned business area. Identifying opportunities for cost savings across your IT services. What we're looking for Qualifications Degree-level education or equivalent experience. ITIL 4 or ITIL V3 Foundation (ITIL 4 Practitioner in Supplier Management desirable). Knowledge & Experience 3 years in IT roles. 1 year in Service Delivery roles. Background in technical IT roles (applications/hardware lifecycle) desirable. Experience in operational logistics is a plus. Strong understanding of ITIL and project management processes. Technical & People Skills Excellent relationship and stakeholder management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Confident Jira user. Experience working within an ITIL best-practice environment. Understanding of application and hardware life cycles. Awareness of project management life cycles. Full UK driving licence (regular travel essential).
