Various shifts to be discussed at interview. Areas to cover: Southend, Rochford, East Mayne, Rayleigh, Weir. Includes weekends and late nights.
Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications & Vetting
- Must hold a current SIA licence.
- Own transport highly desirable.
- Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history required.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry leading customer service.
- Deter violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with the store management teams.
- Collaborate with the Police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store.
- Wear body worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
