Salary - circa £24,000

Role Profile
We're seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our small friendly team at our Head Office, which is based just on the outskirts of Brighton. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll be working within our finance team on sales ledger & purchase ledger tasks such as reconciliations, cash matching, processing invoices and resolving queries. Other duties include:
* Reviewing daily bank statements and checking for any discrepancies or unusual transactions.
* Reconcile bank accounts in the general ledger.
* Maintain filing of electronic statements
* Manage email inbox and inbound telephone calls, responding to store and customer queries and providing support in a timely manner.
* Process all resolved invoices from branches/buying and pass for payment
This list isn't exhaustive and we expect you to be a team player who will get involved in other elements of the business if required.
