Here at the Mick George Group, we are hiring an HGV Fitter.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HGVs.
* Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential problems, making recommendations for repairs.
* Replace and repair damaged or worn-out parts.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
* Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Proven experience as an HGV Fitter or a similar role.
* Knowledge of HGV systems, engines, and mechanical components.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant certifications and licenses, as required.
* Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulations.
