We are looking for someone to join the Lochaber Cancer and Palliative Care Team in Lochaber. Previous community nursing experience and administration of SACT treatment desirable.
Responsibilities
 * You will provide SACT treatment locally 1 day a week and support acute and community patients, providing high levels of clinical decision making skills, monitoring and improving standards of cancer/palliative care through supervised practice, clinical audit, best practice evidence/research implementation, facilitating learning and supporting professional colleagues to provide informed palliative care.
 * Non‑medical prescribing would be desirable although a development post would be considered.
 * You will contribute to developing a sustainable SACT service and community based palliative care service, plus supporting local hospital. The aim of the service will be to meet the needs of people living with cancer after diagnosis and/or terminal diagnosis, through a variety of initiatives.
