We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Hereford. You will lead the marketing team with a focus on digital strategies, website optimisation, brand consistency, lead generation, and sales support. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to drive impactful marketing campaigns, generate leads, support the sales team, and collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to set and develop the overall marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities: Take a central role in launching the brand refresh, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to across the company, including the web-shop and delivery vehicles. Collaborate closely with the commercial manager to launch the re-branded own brand product range, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and messaging. Develop effective lead generation strategies aimed at driving new client acquisition from relevant digital channels and content. Collaborate with the sales team to understand target audience needs and preferences, and align lead generation efforts accordingly. Work closely with the sales team to support them in generating and converting pipeline opportunities through targeted marketing initiatives. Lead the website strategy, ensuring a frictionless experience for current clients and seeking all opportunities to convert and increase new traffic via SEO and paid media. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, and content to maintain and enhance the website. Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director to set and develop the overall marketing strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives. Provide insights, recommendations, and data-driven analysis to contribute to the development of the marketing strategy. Lead and mentor a small team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster growth and excellence. Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and ensure team cohesion to achieve marketing objectives. Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital marketing to optimize strategies and tactics. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field e.g. CIM Proven experience in senior marketing roles with a focus on digital marketing, website management, design, brand management, lead generation, and sales support. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals. Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, with a track record of driving results and ROI. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform decision-making. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and stakeholders.
