Job Description
The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full-time, office-based in Hazel Grove, Stockport. Reporting to the Finance Director, key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
2. Balance sheet reconciliation
3. Weekly Cash flow forecasting
4. Preparing journals, maintaining the fixed asset register, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
5. Completing quarterly VAT returns to HMRC and supporting any inspections
6. Processing employee expense payments
7. Supporting the year-end external audit and any ad-hoc group reporting queries
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role, you should:
* Have previous experience in preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliation
* Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified, studying, or qualified by experience
* Be able to consider a temporary role initially
* Be able to commute to the Stockport office
