Maintenance Mechanic – Millwright (433A) - Scarborough
Pay: $45–$49 per hour
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Schedule: Rotating shifts + overtime as required
A well-established manufacturing operation is looking to add a licensed 433A Millwright to its maintenance team. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production and facility equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
If you’re a mechanically strong millwright who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment, this is a solid long-term opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production and non-production equipment
2. Work on HVAC systems, air compressors, pumps, fillers, cappers, labelers, blenders, and encapsulation equipment
3. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
4. Diagnose and repair packaging, tabulating, and blending equipment
5. Strong focus on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
6. Assist with installation, rigging, and relocation of equipment
7. Perform welding repairs on machine components as required
8. Prepare purchase orders for parts and materials
9. Document maintenance work and parts usage per SOP requirements
10. Maintain tools and shop equipment in good working order
11. Support other maintenance functions as needed

13. Work in compliance with SOPs and safety responsibilities
14. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in sensitive areas
15. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What We’re Looking For
16. 433A Licensed Millwright (required)
17. Ontario Secondary School Diploma
18. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in:
Pneumatics Hydraulics Electrical systems
19. Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and schematics
20. Experience in pharmaceutical or natural health manufacturing is an asset
21. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
22. Willing and able to work rotating shifts and overtime
23. Clear communication skills and ability to work well with others
