Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a proactive, customer-obsessed and team-oriented Executive Assistant to support the VP EMEA of AWS Global Sales (AGS). The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid environment. The candidate will work autonomously on many projects and manage a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate complex calendars and scheduling with professionalism and care
* Support and organize team activities including meetings, events, and collaborative sessions
* Manage domestic and international travel arrangements including logistics and expense reporting
* Partner with internal teams including Recruiting, Facilities, and HR to ensure seamless operations
* Monitor and facilitate completion of key deliverables and action items
A day in the life
As Executive Assistant to the EMEA VP, you will manage a fast-paced environment requiring exceptional organizational skills and discretion. You will coordinate complex travel, arrange internal and external meetings with senior executives and global customers, liaise with PR teams for media appearances and industry events, and maintain strategic calendar management across multiple time zones. You will support quarterly business reviews, team off-sites, and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to enable the VP’s effectiveness and ensure seamless operations across the EMEA organization.
