Play a pivotal role in the intelligence and reporting landscape of IELTS.
About The Role
This role delivers strategic leadership, supporting the development and implementation of security strategies that protect test fairness, maintain candidate trust and ensure regulatory compliance across the global and digital IELTS environment.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
* Collaborate with other Operational Security Leads (Test Security, Major Investigations & Malpractice & Security Standards, Assurance & Best Practice) to ensure intelligence informs operational responses
* Act as the primary conduit for sharing actionable intelligence with IELTS Partners, enabling them to strengthen local controls in coordination with related Working Groups
* Lead engagement with stakeholders to ensure effective integration of intelligence and threat data
* Manage responses to ad-hoc intelligence requests from senior stakeholders
* Provide strategic input into relevant data strategies, focusing on intelligence data sources, integration requirements, quality standards and analytic needs to support predictive threat modelling and unified security insights
* Lead and develop the Intelligence, Threat Monitoring & Reporting function
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face at their dedicated location. About You
* Proven experience in threat intelligence, security analysis or fraud investigation, ideally within educational assessment, examination security, law enforcement or a regulated environment, in a managerial or leadership capacity
* Practical application of OSINT techniques and tools
* Practical application of intelligence sharing protocols and platforms
* Knowledge of current examination malpractice methods, including proxy testing, question leaks, AI cheating and organised fraud
* Solid grasp of dark web, social media and online marketplace monitoring
* Understanding and knowledge of reporting principles for data management, data analytics and reporting processes, including visualisation tools
* Relevant qualifications or training in intelligence analysis, OSINT or cyber threat intelligence
* Experience working in international or joint venture environments
