Overview
Mental Health Supported Worker – covering our services in Worcester and Kidderminster. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), working on a rota to cover a mixture of days, evenings, weekends and sleep in night cover. Earn £12.60 per hour (salary £24,638 per annum) with great benefits including Health Cash Plan.

As our Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex mental health needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations.
Responsibilities
* Assist customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence and help them achieve goals and outcomes documented in their support plans.
* Support people with mental health conditions who need additional help to develop and rebuild independent living skills.
* Assist with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and moving to independent accommodation when able.
* Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Provide time for conversations and teamwork: build rapport with customers and colleagues, avoiding rush between cases.
* Contribute to a positive, stable environment and help customers feel a sense of belonging and progress.
You bring
* Passion to support customers to live their best life, with attention to detail.
* Experience in caring for others; care background in paid or informal settings is welcome.
* Ability to work on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure, and maintain resilience.
* Recognition that each customer is different and the ability to adapt a flexible, personal approach; listen to understand needs.
* Vehicle insured for business purposes (mileage paid).
* Due to limits on current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This remains under regular review.
