Secure Infrastructure (Technical) Lead
Location: Filton, Onsite, Salary: SNBG 7 - 10
Defence Aerospace business in Bristol. Report directly to the Security Operations and SCIDA Manager (EMEA) and be part of the team accountable for delivering secure infrastructure projects, acting as the design authority and intelligent customer for physical security policy, standards and documentation. Focus on ensuring infrastructure is compliant with UK MOD security policy and requirements, providing assurance that standards are met.
What You Will Be Doing
* Act as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security standards, ensuring programme facilities and sites comply with the relevant defence security standards.
* Lead in developing, implementing and commissioning physical security standards; developing and collating all associated documents, procedures and policies for compartments/facilities in accordance with programme security requirements.
* Maintain relationships with relevant external organisations, including UK MOD accreditation body (PSyA), National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and internal stakeholders such as Site Security, Group Property, Security Operations, Risk and Compliance.
* Demonstrate that security arrangements, infrastructure works and construction activities meet the required security accreditation standards and are approved by the relevant accreditation authorities.
* Support the delivery of the wider Site Security Strategy and Security Risk Register, working collaboratively with the wider Defence Security function.
Position Qualifications
* Excellent working knowledge of UK security regulations and standards, with a particular emphasis on NPSA frameworks, UK MoD Security policies/procedures (JSP440), technical security systems and principles of physical security management.
* Experience demonstrating compliance with defence security standards in both new and legacy infrastructure.
* Understanding of the relationship between security design and construction project management processes (RIBA).
* Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills and proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products.
* Ideally holding a technical security qualification (e.g. CPP, PSP, CSMP).
* Preferably membership of a professional body (e.g. the Security Institute).
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires a Developed Vetting (DV). To start, you will require a minimum Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. Rolls‑Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently have it in place.
