Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant We are working with a leading employer based in Portadown to recruit for a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to be part of their finance team. This is full time permanent role with flexible working hours. The Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant will be responsible for: Managing credit control and ensuring customer balances are collected within agreed terms, while resolving invoice and payment queries Maintaining customer accounts, including setup, VAT validation, credit terms, cash allocation, journals, credit notes, and aged debt reporting Supporting management accounts and wider finance tasks, including bank reconciliations, month-end/year-end close, intercompany reconciliations, VAT returns, reporting, and audit support Processing expenses and company card transactions, allocating costs accurately, and supporting system and process improvements. What you will need to have for the Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant role: Previous experience in a similar role Experience of invoicing and credit control Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
