2nd Line IT Support Engineer
£27,000 - £35,000 | Ipswich | Full-time | Office-based
HD Tech are once again partnering with a growing managed service provider that delivers IT, voice, connectivity, mobile and security services to businesses across East Anglia and London. We are looking to support in hiring a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer who wants to broaden their technical exposure and progress over time.
The Role You will be based in the Ipswich office, providing remote support via PSA and RMM tools, handling phone-based queries, and supporting users across sectors including care and legal services. You will take ownership of tickets, diagnose issues, and see them through to resolution while maintaining clear documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality remote support and troubleshooting technical issues.
* Configuring and maintaining Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD, Endpoint Manager).
* Installing and configuring Windows 11 and mobile devices.
* Diagnosing IT issues including mail flow and client configuration.
* Following cyber security best practices and documenting all work clearly.
