Salary: £13,333.32 per annum + benefits
Hours per week: 21 pw

As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will support the team to boost sales, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of stock presentation and store cleanliness.
You will be responsible for:
* Assisting the Retail Manager in maximizing sales through high standards of display, stock rotation, and pricing.
* Keeping up-to-date with merchandising trends and competition.
* Maximizing Gift Aid income and managing display and administration of goods to minimize stock loss.
* Engaging with customers, coaching volunteers and staff to promote donations, charity add-ons, and loyalty schemes.
* Engaging with the community to encourage donations, recruitment, and involvement.
* Supporting recruitment and management of volunteers, ensuring compliance with Marie Curie procedures.
* Taking responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Retail Manager.
Key Criteria:
* Previous retail experience, preferably in fashion/clothing.
* Experience in cash handling and sales record management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good organizational skills and workload prioritization.
* Understanding of health and safety in retail.
* Experience in volunteer management is desirable.
