The Environment Agency (EA) is fully committed to inclusivity and equal opportunities, offering flexible work arrangements for all vacancies. Join a diverse environment where every voice is heard and valued.
Do you want to effectively regulate the energy sectors to create a better place?
The UK’s strategy to deliver Net Zero is driving transformation in the energy sectors, which are responsible for 24% of UK GHG emissions. They need to fully decarbonise by 2050 and double electricity production. Concerns about energy security add pressure to transition to sustainable sources and maximise domestic energy.
Through effective regulation, we must ensure that energy sectors protect people and the environment from emissions, mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts.
