Role: Tesco Colleague (Temporary)
Salary: from £12.45 per hour (increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25). Additional payments may apply depending on location. Policy of a minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week; options available to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if requested.
Note: You must be over 18 to apply for this role.
Working pattern: Availability windows will be scheduled; you will be notified at least 3 weeks in advance of shifts. Flexibility is welcome if advertised times differ slightly from your availability.

Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; provide great natural service.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about products and services in the store.
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Apply training to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
* Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver store routines that meet customer needs.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and your part in driving service, sales, waste reduction and profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Represent the brand by living Tesco values and following policies.
* Occasionally, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
