Engineering Leader - Process Development
Terumo Aortic are currently looking to recruit an Engineering Leader - Process Development to join the team. This role will ensure stable, effective, capable and well-documented manufacturing processes and continual improvement of product quality, sustained reductions in product cost. Responsibilities
* Analyse how processes affect overall production and find ways that these can be improved and developed to be more effective
* Manage teams monthly goals and objectives
* Supervise assigned team members to ensure individual allocated tasks are met within agreed timescales, allocating tasks to team members as appropriate
* Work collaboratively with engineers, operations and other internal staff
* 3rd party management, working with external partners and senior stakeholders when necessary
* Perform any other duties/ tasks/ projects as required by management
* Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support plant’s strategic plan and personal career plans
Qualifications
* Degree or extensive relevant previous experience in a high quality manufacturing environment
* Supervisory experience and strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
* Experience of Lean manufacturing principles i.e. SMED, VM, 5S etc would be advantageous
* Strong computer skills and industry knowledge
* Understand stakeholder management at all levels
* Strong project management experience
* A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions
