For HOYER Group at the location Huddersfield, we are looking for a Head of Operations/Country Manager (UK) who will work with us to shape the future of logistics.
YOUR TASKS
* Lead a team of 50+ people, overseeing regional business activities within the UK, including intermodal/road operations, customer service, fleet management, and safety, health, environment, local (& group-) compliance, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
* Ensure operational performance and excellence through defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor safety performance, and manage third-party performance (e.g., suppliers, vendors).
* Collaborate with Business Partners like Global Sales, Finance, Operations & Human Resources to achieve the overall targets of the HOYER Group.
* Support new business generation through close collaboration with and driving of the Sales & Business Development functions.
YOUR SKILLS
* Significant progressive leadership experience within the transport, logistics, and intermodal sectors, with a deep understanding of the UK and European market landscape.
* Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, and deliver sustainable performance enhancements.
* Skilled in managing complex stakeholder networks, including clients, third-party providers, and internal teams, to ensure service excellence and long-term partnerships.
