Care to Connect is a support project for unpaid carers aged 25+ in Lochaber, hosted by Voluntary Action Lochaber. The project provides outreach and a drop-in support to help reduce isolation, combat loneliness, burnout and depression, and improve wellbeing.
Role Purpose
To assist and support the Project Coordinator in the delivery of the Care to Connect project outcomes by supporting unpaid carers with help, information and advice, signposting, engagement activities and social connection.
Location Office-based
Office base and drop-in centre at An Drochaid, Claggan, Fort William with outreach work across Lochaber.
Driving
A full clean driving license and access to a vehicle is required to meet the responsibilities of this post. Travel expenses will be paid.
