This is a great opportunity to join Hoople Ltd as the Commercial Manager working as part of the Commercial Service team, which offers a superb working environment and opportunities to develop your commercial acumen.
The successful candidate will be organized, possess strong interpersonal skills, have keen attention to detail, and be able to multi-task. They should also have the ability to identify and influence the implementation of improved ways of working within the team.
Working closely with the Asset Manager and Procurement Officer, among others, you will manage the delivery of tenders, including high-value and complex projects, as well as broader tender and procurement exercises for Hoople and its customers. Success depends on developing critical relationships at all levels—senior officers, directors, managers, and colleagues across organizations. A high level of public sector procurement awareness, commercial knowledge, and expertise, ideally in local government, is expected.
The role is based within the Hoople Commercial Services Team, supporting the purchase and management of IT products and services, including software, licenses, and equipment, which serve various departments within Herefordshire, including Hoople Ltd, Herefordshire Council, Wye Valley NHS Trust, Herefordshire GPs, and Herefordshire CCG, among others.
