Overview
Leisure Programming and Capacity Manager is a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) role based at Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG. The position is offered as Hybrid Worker with a starting salary of £40,777 rising to £44,075 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).
We are looking for talented individuals to lead, manage, monitor, review and develop programming and capacity management processes for the Sport, Community and Leisure Service, which delivers the Council’s Core Priorities and Strategies. This is a key senior management role within the Service Delivery Team, contributing to commercialised performance by increasing usage, attendance, sport and physical activity participation and income growth, while helping to reduce costs and the overall service subsidy.
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, monitor, review and develop programming and capacity management processes for the Sport, Community and Leisure Service.
* Make informed decisions to deliver optimal business performance through a commercialised approach, increasing usage, attendance, participation, and income growth.
* Reduce costs and overall service subsidy where possible.
* collate, interpret, and analyse data to forecast future business decisions.
* Maintain a full understanding of the operation of the leisure management system, including troubleshooting and technical aspects, with responsibility for data management and compliance.
* Lead work with General Managers (GM) and Assistant Managers (AM) to implement changes to leisure centre programming and produce accurate, timely performance management information.
* Contribute as a member of the wider senior management team.
About You
* Higher Education Qualification, Industry Specific Qualification, Data Qualification, Leadership/Management Qualification or equivalent Industry Experience.
* Experience of working with raw data and presenting reports and interactive dashboards.
* Experience and knowledge of the sport and leisure industry and its challenges.
* Experience in leisure management systems or equivalent.
* Numeracy skills sufficient to prepare financial information, calculations, and present reports.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel within the City Council area or be based at particular locations as required.
